Client Testimonials
Vikki Saravia
Teaching Fellow Integrated Health (Midwifery)
“....Simactor’s highly skilled actors deliver every single time. The diverse range of scenarios we ask of them is always met with eagerness, professionalism and expert skill. When evaluating a new, recent perinatal mental health simulation day, the students evaluated the presence of the Simactors as one of the most important elements of the day, second only to a wide range of scenarios, which wouldn’t be possible without the Simactors. These guys are truly amazing and I feel very privileged to work with them on so many of our modules.”

“At the University of Surrey we have been working with Simactors for many years now, and they are well recognised as a true asset to our programmes. From a professional business perspective, the organisation, support and trustworthiness is second to none, we are able to contact the company directors, explain our needs and the required brief is always fulfilled.”
Dr Jia Doulton
Programme Lead, Physician Associate PGDip
“The Physician Associate teaching team at the University of Surrey have worked with Simactors since 2017 when the course held the first assessments of clinical consultation skills. The actors are always well-prepared, punctual and professional. We have recommended Simactors to other programmes and our regional course organisers because they can be relied upon to work at the high standards we require to train health care professional students for their future in clinical practice.”

“In the 2 years I have been teaching our healthcare students alongside SimActors I have seen the collaboration and partnership between us go from strength to strength. The added realism they bring to scenarios allows the students to practice complex skills such as communication, in a safe and supportive environment. They play a vital role in giving the students added feedback from the perspective of the patient which is invaluable, and something as tutors we will never be able to provide to the same extent. Working with SimActors is an absolute pleasure and they continue to support and challenge us to provide ever more innovative simulation education. Thank you!”

Professor of Health Services Research and Nursing & School of Health Science, University of Surrey Sept 2021
“I worked with Kim and Richard from Simactors to recruit nine actors for a short film we were making to present our research findings. We needed a broad range of actors in terms of ethnicity; age; gender and accents and Kim and Richard provided short reels for xx actors [add number] from which we could choose. They went above and beyond to secure the right people for our film, often requesting new accents and new takes from actors, which we really appreciated. It was a sensitive film with actors voicing the words of healthcare professionals who has been through a fitness to practice process and we needed authenticity and emotional range that Richard and Kim were very keen to support. We were delighted with the actors we secured and the process of filming (call sheet timings and reliability was key) and our clients were very moved by the finished product. All in all it was a great experience and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Simactors to anyone – they were highly professional, supportive and provided high quality actors to meet our very specific needs. I look forward to working with them again.”

“Simactors has been such an amazing asset to the teaching of our health care professionals. They have helped us teach a wide range of key skills ensuring that we can achieve essential training before the students go out to practice. They have been so reliable and helpful in the design of our teaching to ensure we can emphasise and achieve our key learning outcomes. The actors have been amazing at providing feedback and reassurance to the students which helps us make them grow and learn who they are and how to be the best health care professionals they can be.”
