Forum Theatre & Drama Workshops

Tailored training developed and delivered by our Actor Faciliatators.

Forum Theatre workshops have been very popular within Universities, as well as, Professional CPD trainings we have hosted.

The aim of this model is to allow participants to think about building their professional identity and play the ‘role’ of their field profession. A chance to rehearse much like an actor.

We create an opportunity to observe a demonstration by Actors in a safe environment demonstrating extreme examples of how communication/ criteria can not be achieved or too achieved’. We allow participants to consider the way behaviour and communication style can impact the patient experience, outcomes and the safety of the service user, themselves and others.

These training days can be tailored to meet the client’s learning objectives for the participants. We create a presentation and introduction, scenarios, actors as well as assist with the logistics and timetable of the day.

We offer a new approach for participant growth, which allows reflection on how behaviour and communication styles can influence the service users experience, outcomes, saftey, and prioritising wellbeing. The performance is demonstrated by Actor/Faciliators, and encourages group collaboration, through discussion and redirection of 'the problem'.

Drama Led Workshops

We introduce a combination of drama techniques and exercises, to engage and challenge participants in a safe and supportive environment. Our expert facilitators work closely with you to deliver a bespoke workshop, that addresses your specific learning objectives. This has proven to be an effective method for promoting self confidence, empathy, critical thinking, communication skills, building focus and active participation in later simulation. Participants also value the workshops as a tool for 'building their professional role'.
